Consequently, William Hang It will have as a priority to support the policies and strategies that the Government develops to contain the escalation of prices with inflation and to improve the income of citizens.
According to what was known until now, the director of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, would be close to the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán, so after the passage of the Secretariat to the Treasury Palace, they will work hand in hand on the Government’s purposes.
Besides that Hang He was a fellow student of the minister, he also accompanied Guzmán on his last trip to Brazil to negotiate the supply of energy, after the energy crisis that triggered the war in Ukraine.
It should be remembered that Roberto Feletti presented his resignation to President Alberto Fernández, after his disagreement with the Government’s price control policy.
With that, Hang he would become the third Secretary of Domestic Trade during the administration of Alberto Fernández. Now the economist will have as his main challenge to control inflation, which in April marked 6%.
