Guillermo Cortés: “Retirees satisfied with the benefits law but there is still a general increase”

We spoke with Guillermo Cortés about the approval of the Law that provides additional benefits to retirees and pensioners of the Social Security Fund, he said that it has generated a lot of satisfaction among the retired population in the country.

He highlighted that this money, for the permanent payments of the benefit program, will come from the adjustment to the alcoholic beverage tax, which will be an additional 2 cents. He added that the consumption of alcoholic beverages will be the same.

He assured that there are other projects to benefit retirees and pensioners and that as of July 2, the fight will begin to have them approved.
