The death of the presidential senator and candidate Miguel Uribe was recorded two months after the attack on his life on June 7.

Uribe Turbay was born on January 28, 1986 in Bogotá. He was grandson of former president Julio César Turbay Ayala and his wife, Nydia Quintero, and son of journalist Diana Turbay, killed during a rescue operation after a kidnapping orchestrated by the Medellín poster. He was a lawyer by profession and member of the Political Party Democratic Center.
