The congressman and former president of the Council of Ministers, acknowledged that he requested air tickets for who would be an alleged member of the Dynamics of the Center, to Daniel Abarca, former adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism.

Bellido Ugarte insisted, in statements to Control Ciudadano Cusco, that he did not recommend Abarca Soto to assume any position and that he has not required any exchange of favors.

“On one occasion I asked him to buy some tickets, and I have paid for that purchase, it was for another militant [de Perú Libre] that it was Arturo Cárdenas because he was going through a difficult time economically due to all his problems and as a colleague, indeed, I asked him, I hope that all this issue is clarified, ” he added.

Yesterday, the Panorama program broadcast some alleged WhatsApp chats in which legislator Guido Bellido would have promoted the hiring of his godson, Daniel Abarca, as an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism (Mincetur) in exchange for favors.

The conversations that the Sunday program showed detail how on July 23, 2021, when Bellido Ugarte had already been sworn in as a congressman, Abarca wrote to him to congratulate him and later, on July 27, when he already knew that he was going to be the president of the Council of Ministers of the first cabinet of Pedro Castillo, sends you his curriculum vitae to agree on his appointment in the Mincetur.

To finalize his appointment in this portfolio, Daniel Abarca would have offered him an apartment in the district of San Miguel so that he can stay while he performs his duties in the State. Said house would belong, according to Panorama, to Diego Aguinaga, a businessman who was looking to meet with the former prime minister.

Capture of Pinturita

On April 5, the Seventh Preparatory Investigation Court of the National Superior Court ordered the internment, in the prison designated by the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE), of Arturo Cárdenas, alias ‘Pinturita’; and Waldys Vilcapoma Manrique.

As recalled, both are being investigated for alleged criminal organization and other crimes, within the framework of the Los Dinámicos del Centro case. Cárdenas Tovar is a confidant of the sentenced ex-regional governor of Junín, Vladimir Cerrón.

It should be noted that both ‘Pinturita’ and Vilcapoma Manrique will serve a 36-month preventive prison term, which will expire on April 3, 2025.
