The Women’s Parliamentary Front, the Algerian legislative Hani Aksene and the member of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, Orlando Tardencilla, highlighted the importance of the Anti-Fascist World Parliamentary Forum held for two days in Caracas.
Each representative expressed how important the stage has been as an expeditious way to make known the terrible consequences of Zionism in all latitudes.
Regarding the Women’s Parliamentary Front, Congresswoman Tania Díaz read her final declaration where they invite senators, deputies, legislators and leaders of political parties and social movements around the world to solidarity “with the sisters of Palestine, Lebanon, Cuba, Nicaragua and other countries that are victims of the merciless siege of capitalist elites.”
The document also urges women to raise their voices in defense of humanity and in favor of ending the genocide perpetrated by Israel against Palestine.
Díaz stated that the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum is planning “a different way of doing politics that manages to overcome the fascism that wants to prevent people from having the right to life and the right to peace.”
For her part, the vice president of the National Popular Assembly of Cuba, Ana María Machado, took advantage of the opportunity to express her solidarity, on behalf of the Cuban delegation, with the cause of Palestine.
Promote brotherhood. Legislator Hani Aksene thanked the Venezuelan State for holding the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum. In addition, he supported the re-election of Nicolás Maduro as president on behalf of his people.
Aksene highlighted the importance of the message they carry through the forum, “especially in the context of growing racism in the world and the resurgence of neo-fascism.”
He added that as parliamentarians “we have the responsibility to promote, through legislative tools and parliamentary diplomacy, brotherhood between peoples and communities.”
Aksene highlighted that Algeria, with its participation in the forum held in Venezuela, promotes “coexistence between peoples around the world and the right of peoples to self-determination, non-interference and free abuse of their natural resources.”
The member of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, Orlando Tardencilla, denounced that the “North American empire reformulates criminal strategies against the life and integrity of the people.”
He said that the battle against fascism must be constant, since “imperialism does not rest.”
