Pandemics of this profile are here to stay, to the extent that the excessive desire for profit in a predatory economic system leads companies to invade spaces that should be closed to nature. Perhaps we are one of the first generations who, in full consciousness, headed towards global collective suicide.
Secondly, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine based on the construction of an artificial conflict, and based on nostalgia for a supposed past, has put Russia at the center of criticism in the world.
Various events have been taking place that were believed to have been eliminated on the European stage and that will take many years to be resolved, such as war crimes on the part of both sides; the economic costs that Russia will have to bear despite its reluctance; the loss of entire generations in Ukraine, which will be affected by a reconstruction process that does not yet have a visible horizon; the millions of Ukrainians who have left their homes and who represent one of the most serious injuries in a post-conflict scenario; the balance of power left by the invasion, with China, Russia and the United States as protagonists, and the desperate lack of a voice of its own on the part of the European Union.
