The three finalists for the FIFA The Best award for the best technical director of the year 2022 were announced and these are Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola and Lionel Scaloni
The award recognizes the performances of soccer coaches in this case in the men’s category from August 8, 2021 to December 18, 2022. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Paris on February 27, 2023.
Initially, five candidates were nominated for the award after being chosen by a panel of experts. From this list, the three finalists have been selected by an international jury made up of men’s national team coaches, men’s national team captains, football journalists and fans who voted on the official FIFA website.
Ancelotti led Real Madrid to win the Spanish League and the European Champions League.
Guardiola guided Manchester City to its fourth English Premier League crown in the last five seasons.
Lionel Scaloni led the Argentina National Team to win the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
