For a household to receive Guaranteed Minimum Income in 2024, You must be registered in groups A or B of Sisbén IV. There is no separate registration for the program.

The subsidies, which are given to one member per family who has a bank account, are not retroactive and are transferred monthly, the official said.

It is also important to note that there are families who cannot apply or do not receive the IMG despite having completed the paperwork.

This is because the district identifies whether the household is receiving monetary transfers from other social programs of the Nation or the mayor’s office and defines whether it requires an additional monetary transfer to cover the entire Guaranteed Minimum Income.

Guaranteed Minimum Income: all the requirements

The requirements for a household to be a beneficiary of the Guaranteed Minimum Income are:

– Be registered in the Bogotá Sisbén.

– Be classified in groups A or B of Sisbén IV.

– Not receiving support from National Government transfer programs, such as Renta Joven, Colombia Mayor or Renta Ciudadana.

– Have an active account with financial institutions that have an agreement with the District Treasury Secretariat: Daviplata, Nequi, Bancolombia a la Mano, Movii, Powwi or Dale.
