Juan Pablo Guanipa, upon leaving prison on February 8, assured that much remains to be done to talk about the future of Venezuela.

In his first statements, after more than eight months arbitrarily detained, the political leader sent a message to all Venezuelans.

«Here we are being released after a year and a half, 10 months in hiding, almost nine months detained here. Today we are leaving free. Much to talk about the present and future of Venezuela. Always with the truth ahead,” he said.

Juan Pablo Guanipa, leader of Primero Justicia and close collaborator of María Corina Machado, was released this Sunday, February 8, after being arbitrarily detained for more than eight months.

The information was confirmed by Ramón, his eldest son, who since his father’s arrest has assumed the spokesperson for the political leader’s X account.

«I announce that my father, Juan Pablo Guanipa, was released from prison minutes ago. After more than eight months of unjust prison and more than a year and a half separated, our entire family will soon be able to hug each other again,” he wrote.
