In the state of La Guaira, two people were dragged by the Naiguatá river when trying to cross after the increase in its flow, due to the heavy rains registered this Monday afternoon.
Civil Protection officials of the entity together with the inhabitants of the sector managed to rescue one of the victims, identified as Eusebio Dacorte twenty meters from the bridge of the Naiguatá Quarry, the citizen presented multiple trauma to the thorax and abdomen, he was transferred to the Hospital José María Vargas de La Guaira, also known as Social Security.
For his part, Rafael Alexis Ramos died by immersion after being dragged by the river. His body was found approximately two nautical miles away by fishermen from the area who joined the search efforts of the Fire Department. The body was transferred to the La Guaira morgue.
Likewise, in Naiguatá in the Las Colinas sector, as a result of the rains in the early morning, the partial fall of a house was recorded, causing damage to the kitchen and bathroom area, leaving the house totally fractured.
