Guabirá tied (0-0) in his visit to the qualifier The Strongest, but was eliminated

Guabirá stole a goalless draw on his visit to The Strongest, but it was not enough to stay alive in the Apertura de la División Profesional tournament. The match, corresponding to group A, was played this Saturday afternoon at the Rafael Mendoza stadium, on date 15 of the championship and was directed by referee Javier Revollo from Oruro.

In the first passages of the match the visiting team tried to surprise to Tigre and had some arrivals on the goal defended by Jhohan Gutiérrez, but without much clarity.

Little by little the tabbys were controlling the game and with Henry Vaca as the main protagonist he began to give work to the goalkeeper Jhon Jairo Cuéllar, who had an outstanding performance, because he avoided the fall of his goal on several occasions.

The Strongest, already classified, played this game with several changes because on Tuesday (18:15) he must visit Caracas FC from Venezuela, for the Copa Libertadores.

With this result, the La Paz team dropped from first place to third, while the reds from the north of Santa Cruz are in penultimate position in the standings.

On the last date of the first phase of the Apertura tournament, with day and time still to be defined, The Strongest will receive Aurora; while Guabirá will be local against Universitario de Sucre.
