Guabirá still hasn't won in the Apertura tournament, this time he fell (0-3) against Royal Pari

Guabirá still does not know the victory in the Apertura tournament of the Professional Division, despite the fact that this Sunday they played their first home game of the 2022 championship. The sugar team was postponed at the Gilberto Parada stadium and missed the three points that went to Royal Pari, who won by thrashed (0-3), in a match that closed the sixth date.

The meeting started at full speed and the first clear scoring opportunity was given to the real estate team through Carlos Ribera, who demanded goalkeeper Elder Arauz, in the 13th minute.

Then, the local improved their game and established a slight dominance, but a foul by Paraguayan Nelson Amarilla on Colombian John Freddy Pérez, gave Royal Pari the opportunity to open the account, at 20 minutes.

The cross referee Rafael Subirana did not hesitate to collect the clear foul and the person in charge of executing the maximum penalty was Joel Amoroso, who did not miss with a powerful shot to the middle of the goal, while the goalkeeper chose his left post. It was 0-1 in the Caldera.

The Montereños were able to quickly reach a tie, when a cross from Juan Carlos Montenegro was headed by Layonel Figueroa, who passed close to the goal defended by Jorge Arauz. It was minute 22.

Pushed by their fans and with the need to add three, those led by Mauricio Soria turned to the attack with everythingbut it was uphill for them due to their own limitations.

In the second half, the sugar mills stepped on the accelerator, but at the front they found a rival who knew how to strike at the right moment.

At 66 minutes, Royal Pari coach Julio César Baldivieso brought in Rudy Cardozo in place of Pérez and that variant was key for the visit to take the victorybecause it was precisely the tarijeño, who scored the second goal with only four minutes on the pitch.

Cardozo took advantage of a poor clearance by the local defense to take a powerful left-footed shot from outside the area, about 20 meters, which made goalkeeper Elder Arauz’s stretch sterile (70′).

The last goal came at 88 minutes, through Hernán Rodríguez who after controlling the ball inside the area ‘shot’ the local goalkeeper to put definitive figures on the game.

To add insult to injury, the montereño team finished the game with ten players due to the expulsion of Fran Supayabe (90′), due to a double yellow card.

The defeat of the red team keeps it in the last place of the table of Group A positions, while Royal Pari climbed from penultimate to fourth place in Series B.
