Guabirá did not fulfill his duties at home. They lost against Always Ready by 1-3 and with that result they remain at the bottom of the accumulated table, since they have 32 units against 27 that Royal Pari has, which is penultimate and is committed to the indirect, while the last one is Real Santa Cruz, with 23 points, threatened with relegation.

The match between the Montereño red and the millionaires was played this Monday afternoon, at the Gilberto Parada stadium in Montero and began the 25th date of the Clausura tournament of the Professional Division of Bolivian soccer.

The sugar producers found themselves with the opening goal early through Pedro Cabral (7′). Alejandro Quintana headed a cross, which was cleared with effort by goalkeeper Alaín Baroja, then Gustavo Peredo appeared and could not hit it well and the ball was served to the Brazilian forward who did not miss.

When the first half was ending there was controversy over a handball inside the area by Rodrigo Morales, the players of the El Alto team asked for a penalty, but the Oruro referee Gery Vargas and the VAR understood that it was not to charge a maximum penalty.

The visitor did not give up the attack, they looked for the equalizing goal, gave goalkeeper Manuel Ferrel work and put Guabirá in trouble, who could not string together dangerous plays.

When everyone’s contribution was most needed, because the Monterrenos were not having a good time, Jorge Lovera (66′) saw the red card for a hard foul that did not allow discussion.

With one less man, things got worse for the sugar producers, because Always Ready went with greater determination to the attack and found the tie through Carlos Lucumí (75), who stopped a ball with his chest and took an unapproachable right hand for goalkeeper Manuel Ferrel .

The Colombian striker had only been on the field for 13 minutes and had already tied Always Ready. He had entered in place of Pablo Vaca, in the 62nd minute.

The millionaires scored a new goal, this time through José Briceño (79′). In the first instance, the line assistant raised the flag for an offside, but after the VAR review, there was no such foul and that goal increased the score. The people from El Alto now won 1-2.

The goal that settled the dispute was the work of Lucumí (85′). Robson Matheus took a surprising shot from outside the area, which goalkeeper Ferrel half-cleared, and after a rebound it reached the Colombian who first faked the goalkeeper and then sent the ball into the net.
