Louis Jean Chartier was named by the Romero Group as CEO of Infracorp, the infrastructure holding of the aforementioned business group.
Chartier’s work will be focused on leading the growth of the group in the infrastructure sector through direct investments or co-investments at a national and regional level.
“Louis Jean Chartier, who has in-depth knowledge of the sector in Latin Americaassumed this responsibility from January 1, 2023,” the company reported in a statement.
Training and professional profile
The new CEO of Infracorp, according to Grupo Romero, is an executive with more than 25 years in the private sector in Canada, France, Mexico and Perucountries where he has worked “in large industrial and infrastructure multinationals”.
Among the companies where it has been developed are the Canadian Bombardier aeronautical sector, Hydro-Quebec International, Vinci Group and Alstom Group.
Chartier’s track record includes private equity funds, and other pension funds such as CDPQ.
Regarding his academic training, the CEO of Infracorp has a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics and Finance from McGill Universityas well as an MBA from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and the Mccombs School of Business (University of Texas) and He has completed the AMP (Advanced Management Program) program at Wharton, the business school of the University of PennsylvaniaIn U.S.A.
