Santiago. The companies that make up the Grupo Estrella welcomed Christmas with their traditional lighting of the tree in front of their facilities, on Thanksgiving Day.
The formal start of the act was in charge of Mariela Vásquez, Planning and Development Manager of the Human Resources Department, who invited attendees to live the magic of the time from the mode of gratitude and the mode of love to discover greater moments of happiness.
The priest Agustín Fernández shared lessons of wisdom through the reading of the word of God, and urged those present to live this time in peace, love and happiness.
The engineer Manuel Genao, president of the Group’s Projects Division, when referring to what he has experienced in the last two years due to Covid 19, highlighted the importance of giving thanks for life, health and freedom.
“As a company we also have to give infinite thanks, we have spent the last two weeks reviewing the results of all the companies and the projections at the end of the year, and the reality is that we have to give thanks because for this year all the companies in the group they have had a satisfactory result and above what we had contemplated”, expressed Genao, at the time of assessing the contribution that each collaborator has made to the growth and development experienced by the organization during the year 2022.
He urged to live the season with a feeling of gratitude, with the hope that the next period will be accompanied by new opportunities.
The lights were turned on by Jeaune Marie Badía, Director of Human Resources, under a countdown of the audience, motivated by Rovin Rodríguez, Vice President of Concrete, Aggregates and Laminates.
After the season was officially inaugurated, collaborators and managers had the opportunity to enjoy the rhythm of a repertoire of Christmas carols, by the Tuna Universitaria de la Pucmm.
The commemoration was carried out from a dynamic in which the attendees expressed feelings of gratitude for those aspects that they consider important in their lives.
In addition, they created awareness of the situations of regret that they must dismiss to condition their interior and live Christmas with the reception of the Child Jesus in their hearts.
