40 new industrial parks will be financed in 2022
The Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, informed that in the course of this year the Government will finance the location of forty industrial parks throughout the country, and that “in fifteen days” the new regime will be announced in the Buenos Aires town of Florencio Varela. of support of the bond of capital goods for national production.
Kulfas made the announcements in the Santa Fe city of Las Parejas, at the launching ceremony of the Supplier Development Programs (Prodepro), headed by President Alberto Fernández.
In his speech, the minister made it clear that Las Parejas was “one of the 10 cities with the highest employment growth in 2021”, as a result of the coordination of national, provincial and municipal policies.
The town is one of the main centers producing agricultural machinery, and in this regard Kulfas highlighted that in 2021 there was “the largest production so far in the 21st century” in the sector.
In this regard, he maintained that “the field demands this machinery, but when we began the management of every hundred machines only 41 were manufactured in Argentina.”
“Today we completely changed that equation and more than 60% are manufactured by the Argentine industry, which thus increased its participation by 50%,” he stressed.
He also highlighted that “credit for SMEs is growing” and that in 2021 they were recipients of 53% of loans to companies, “a historical record,” he emphasized.
In that order, Kulfas stressed that “in fifteen days, in Florencio Varela, we will be announcing the new capital goods bond support regime for national producers,” a measure that, he explained, “will give predictability” to the sector .
