Mothers see reduced food options that they can give their children when milk and its derivatives, such as yogurt and cheese, are eliminated from their diets.
Such is the case of the entrepreneur, Graysis of the Cross who, worried about her two-year-old daughter’s allergic reaction to milk, decides to create the Parfaite project, a company dedicated to the production of yogurts and ice creams without dairy, gluten, soy or chemicals.

But his desire to contribute to children with this condition came with the maternitya stage that, according to her, changed her mentality.
“The birth of my daughter changed my mentality. My daughter is allergic to cow’s milk and gluten. Because of this diagnosis, I needed to focus on finding alternatives for her to have good nutrition since she was underweight. So I started making her healthy meals for her,” she confidently expressed.
Greysis knew that in order to create a balanced diet for her daughter, she needed to study about the food groups and their properties.
The also journalist initiated an independent investigation on vegetable milk and its composition. The result of these inquiries led her to test her daughter’s reaction to different milks, including coconut milk.
“I did several tests with my daughter and I noticed that coconut milk benefited her a lot, so I insisted on making her a yogurt. Since she was on the market, she did not have a product with the necessary requirements for a person with a food allergy”, she recalls.
The businesswoman relates that when she managed to finish the recipe for the yogurt, she felt an indescribable emotion because she knew that this preparation would end a life of food censorship for her little girl. From that day on, her daughter would eat not only yogurt, but also vegan ice cream, gluten-free bread and cookies.
She states that the “Minerva yogurt” recipe was the favorite dish for gatherings of friends and family, who motivated her to present this dish at a business level.
“I was motivated to undertake by my friends who always asked me for the “Minerva yogurt”. So being at home, I prepared yogurt for my daughter and also for her friends. Over time, they paid me for orders, until I understood that there were other mothers and other children who required products that provided a healthy diet, ”she says with determination.

Greysis grows up in a family of homely habits, influenced by her maternal grandmother Inés Henríquez, from whom she learns not only to cook, but also the value of strength to chart her life’s path.
“I admired her ability to make incredibly beautiful and delicious things with her hands.
