Equality in Sao Januario
Another giant of Brazilian football that was equal in the first round of Serie B was Vasco. Cruzmaltino drew 1-1 with Vila Nova last Friday (8). The team from São Januário opened the scoring with Raniel, but the visitors tied with Arthur Rezende.

Bahia’s victory
The winner of the competition was Bahia, who, last Friday, beat Cruzeiro 2-0 with two goals from forward Victor Jacaré in Salvador. The result left Tricolor at the top of the competition classification with three points.
