Mason Greenwood, Manchester United striker accused of attempted rape and other charges, has been released on bail after being arrested this weekend for breaking the conditions of his provisional release.
The 21 year old footballerwhich was arrested for the first time in January this yearor, to be subsequently released, was arrested again last weekend for, according to different English media, trying to contact the victim of the crimes of rape, assault and coercive and controlling behavior of which he is accused.
This Wednesday, Grenwood, who was not present at the hearing, received bail state in which it will remain at least until next hearing, on November 21.

The player has not trained or played for Manchester United since this case came to light last January and has remained suspended until the situation is clarified.
Greenwood was charged with rape, assault, and controlling and coercive behavior after some disturbing images of his girlfriend, full of wounds and bruises, saw the light.
The attempted rape took place in October 2021, while the controlling and coercive behavior covers a period between November 1, 2018 and October 15, 2022. The assault and harassment corresponds to the month of December 2021.
