Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) issued Green Alert for the Dajabón provinces, the southern area of Santiago de los Caballeros and Santiago Rodríguez, where Aguasers are expected in the next few hours.
These downpours will occur due to the interaction of a trough with a tropical wave located near Puerto Rico.
The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET) predicted that the rains will continue on Wednesday over El Seibo, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata and Santo Domingo, as well as in San José de Ocoa, Monsignor Nouel, La Vega, San Juan, Elías Piña, Valverde and the National District.
