At least 10 people belonging to Ukraine’s Greek minority, which has about 100,000 members, were killed in the bombardments, the statement said, calling the attacks “unacceptable criminal actions.”
Greece urged Russia on Saturday to end air raids on villages in Ukraine in which at least ten people from the Greek minority residing in those areas have been “killed”.
“We call on the Russian Federation to stop airstrikes and all actions against civilians,” the Greek Foreign Ministry wrote in a statement.

Six of the victims died in the village of Sartana, where six injuries were also reported.
The other four deceased were killed in a shelling in the village of Buhas, the Greek ministerial statement said.
The two villages are located near Mariupol (southeast Ukraine), a coastal city facing the Sea of Azov.
