A new edition of the Great Training Fairthe world’s largest construction event in the country that will take place the next March 16, 17 and 18 at the Mapocho Station.
Among the various activities of this event, the more than 160 training sessions that will take place on site stand out. Nearly 50 of them will be hands-on, with the chance to test the latest products from the most recognized brands on the market in areas such as coatings, lighting, seals, perforations and adhesive sealants, among others.
Also noteworthy are the practical workshops on the “Importance of stamps in construction” with Sika“Free Power Cordless Tools and New Tools” with Bauker“Personal protection elements to improve your safety at work” by 3M or “How to prepare different types of special concrete with your cement” next to Polpaicoamong many others.
Additionally, there will be more than 100 theoretical training sessions with experts in the field, who will share the latest knowledge in plumbing, finishes, tools and many more areas. “How to be a Certified Specialist” by ChileValue“How to choose the best safety footwear” by Norseg“The best tips for working the plywood” by CMPC“Solutions for concrete” by dewalt and “New technologies in Tig and Manual Arc processes” by indurawill be some of them.
These trainings will be available to teachers who participate in person in the Great Training Fair, as well as to all people who register in www.granferiadecapacitacion.cl to access virtually and free.
In the Plenary Room, there will be talks and discussion panels on relevant topics and not necessarily related to construction, such as mental health, inclusion, sustainability and digital tools, among others.
In that line, claudio palm, a prominent football announcer and rapporteur, will present – on Thursday 16 at 5:00 p.m. – a talk-conversation about leadership, self-improvement, discipline and objectives. From these topics, the communicator will motivate about how important it is to maintain interest in learning and training.
Similarly, the renowned psychologist Monica Lopez -who has been a speaker focused on human development for 17 years- will give two talks on mental health. The first of them with themes ranging from how to learn to be happy and positive psychology practices to cultivate well-being, and the second, about stress management, time management and self-care techniques.
Also in the Plenary Hall, an innovative digital training experience focused on waste management in construction sites will be carried out. This will be in charge of Joaquin CuevasCEO of redresseswho will talk about the new application that, in an interactive and playful way, seeks to train in waste and recycling management, guiding the construction industry towards a culture of circular economy.
Likewise, this space will present Alejandra Mustakis, businesswoman and former president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Chile (Asech) and melyna montesrenowned leader of Bajos De Menawho will give a talk about the history of 1KO, a social innovation organization that seeks to rescue and make visible the talent of that community.
Along with these trainings, talks and workshops that seek to improve the teachers in their respective fields, there will be free certifications from Inacap in plumbing and electricity. To access them, you must complete training for each day of the event and pass the final exam with a grade equal to or greater than 4.0 on the last day and then take the final exam. Those of electricity will take place in Room 1 at 12 noon, while those of plumbing, in Room 1 at 17:00. .
These certifications are based on updated content that considers the main innovations in each construction area, all hand in hand with Inacap, a technical training center that will support this work.
The Great Training Fair It has been carried out since 2012, training thousands of teachers in a free event that only in its 2022 version benefited more than 190,000 people from all over the country.
