Two deceased and a civil protection official with second degree burns, in addition to innumerable material losses, was the balance that left the fire of great magnitude recorded on Tuesday afternoon in the Los Guayos municipality of the Carabobo state.
Fatal victims were identified as Gabriela Tejerías (39 years old) and Miguel Ángel Tovar (18 years old).
It was known that Tejerías served as administrator of the Provisional company, and was trapped in the place when they started the first explosions. While Tovar was an intern, and died when trying to save the female’s life.
The injured civil protection official, identified as Victor Vilra (38 years), is stable after suffering burns in various parts of his body.

The G/B Pedro Olivo, head of the Central Redan, informed that to mitigate the fire they worked together around 320 officials from different fire bodies of the Carabobo and Aragua states.
He explained that there were 90%material damage, including two sheds with total losses.
“We place about 15 units available, between fire and ambulance suppression, with the support of the Carabobo Governorate and especially the Mayor’s Office of Los Guayos,” he said.
The mayor of the municipality, Mervelis de Burgos, said that the security and rescue bodies are deployed working on the relevant investigations to know the origin of the fire.
“On the orders of our Minister Diosdado Cabello, there is a Cicpc commission to determine the causes of the event in a short time,” he said.
This Wednesday, the passage towards the paraparal area was restricted as a security measure.
