Author of the sixth goal for England in the victory of his team against Iran (6-2) this Monday, Jack Grealish dedicated his goal to Finlay, an 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, whom he promised a special celebration.

Grealish, who barely had to push a ball past Callum Wilson to get the last goal on the scoreboard, He did not forget to wave his arms around a corner, as the young man asked him shortly before the World Cup.

The Manchester City player met the boy as part of the activities of the City in the Community foundation, after the boy wrote him a long letter in which he expressed his sports admiration, but also Grealish’s dedication to her little sister Hollie, also affected by the same developmental disorder.

“I wish there were more people in the world like you who treat people with disabilities the same as anyone else,” Finlay wrote.

Grealish then promised to dedicate his next goal. “First I have to score; then, I’ll do it for you, but I’ve only scored once this season,” Grealish noted in a video broadcast by the Premier League.

“I’ll do it for you, I promise, the next time I score,” he promised. And this Monday he fulfilled.
