The day brought together circles of grandparents from Aragua, Carabobo, Miranda, La Guaira and Caracas in an act of deep revolutionary loyalty
More than 10,000 grandfathers and grandmothers from the country mobilized this Wednesday to Los Caobos Park to sing for peace and demand the release of President Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant Cilia Flores.
The Minister of Popular Power for Grandfathers and Grandmothers of the Homeland, Magaly Viña, reported that the day brought together circles of grandparents from Aragua, Carabobo, Miranda, La Guaira and Caracas in an act of deep revolutionary loyalty.
“We are in a clamor demanding that the United States give us back our president,” said Minister Viña, who ratified the sector’s absolute confidence in the management of the acting president Delcy Rodríguez.
The official highlighted that older adults are the moral vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution and that their life experience translates today into a firm defense of national sovereignty against external claims.
The minister also explained that in all the communes of the country there are active participation spaces where grandparents write letters addressed to the national leader and share their historical experiences with the youth.
Given the recent military attack by the United States, the Bolivarian Government has reinforced comprehensive care sessions in the 335 municipalities of the country.
Through the grandparents’ circles, the State guarantees permanent social and moral protection, ensuring that the wisdom of Venezuelans with the greatest experience is the fundamental pillar of popular resistance.
