Grain Storage Plant in Pailón will be able to store up to 42,000 tons

The construction of the Grain Storage Plant in Pailón, which will benefit wheat producers, has 62% physical progress. After an inspection carried out by the Food Production Support Company (Emapa), it was reported that the storage capacity will be 42,000 tons.

He Emapa manager, Franklin Flores, reported that the investment exceeds Bs 79 million. The plant will have four silos, each with a capacity of 10,500 tons, of which 2 are assembled and the other two have the base structure. The construction of the administrative office area has already been completed.

He mayor of Pailón, Hagapito Castro, assured that there is 62% physical progress. “It has been carried out at an accelerated rate in recent months and that means that the hopes of wheat producers are going to materialize with this work that without a doubt has a great impact for Pailón,” Castro stated.

“Pailón is one of the municipalities that has the largest area of ​​hectares of wheat and we are even displaced to another municipality and Pailón deserves this type of works that allows producers to have their own collection center,” said the mayor of Pailón.
