GPP rejects Russia’s separation from the UN Human Rights Council

“The Revolutionary Forces of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole declare our feelings of respect, fraternity, and longing for peace and security for Russia and Ukraine”, as stated in the Communiqué delivered to Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Venezuela . The information was released by the deputy of the National Assembly, William Camacho.

Camacho reiterated that the intention of the parliamentarians is to express support for the Russian people and its president for defending their security, the right to legitimate defense and the sovereign equality of the peoples.

The parliamentarian assured that this type of diplomatic action reiterates the ties of brotherhood towards the Russian nation, and in view of the media siege promoted by large Western corporations that limit the citizens’ right to information.

In this sense, they expressed their resounding rejection of the separation of the Russian Federation from the UN Human Rights Council.

Finally, he announced that they will carry out various activities from within the parliament in order to set a precedent in the midst of a military conflict that is having a transcendental impact on the international economic order, according to a press release.
