Héctor Valdez Albizu offered the youth a breakdown of the country’s economic trajectory, which is expected to close at 5.5%
The governor of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD), Hector Valdez Albizureceived the Dominican ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Juan Bolivar Diazand a group of Dominican-Spanish students who were awarded in the 14th edition of the Academic Merit Award instituted by the embassy.
During the visit, Albizu offered the young people a few glimpses of the good economic trajectory that the Dominican Republic is following, highlighting that we are on the path to sustained growth, which at the end of this year will be between 5.1% and 5.5%, coupled with the fact that, currently, the interannual inflation is at 3.54% as of July, foreign direct investment will exceed US$4.5 billion, with remittances of more than US$10.5 billion.
Ambassador Díaz expressed his gratitude to the BCRD for the support it has been providing to the activities taking place at the embassy of the Iberian country.
