Presidential candidate for the Force y Libertad alliance, Fiorella Molinelli, said that the regional governor of Junín and leader of the Battle Party Peru, Zósimo Cárdenas, could apply as a candidate for vice presidency in the next general elections.

“It is a possibility that he has to define,” he said in an interview for the program Without script. Molinelli stressed that he has reviewed Cárdenas’s ideology and that both have talked about summoning independent candidates for Congress, with the aim of maintaining a positive work environment during the campaign.

Strength and freedom is a coalition registered with the National Jury of Elections, composed of the Modern Force parties, led by Molinelli, and Battle Peru, headed by Cárdenas. The alliance seeks to present itself as a center’s political alternative that responds to citizen demands and overcomes polarization.
