Governor of Coclé receives the Great Collar order of the Interuniversity Chair for Peace

The Governor of the Province of Coclé, Julio Enrique Palacios Sambrano, was decorated by the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America (OIJ) with the Great Collar order of the Interuniversity Chair for Peace, Development, and Education for his work in the cultural and legal sphere.

Palacios received this distinction from the Ambassador and Permanent Observer of the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America (OIJ) to the United Nations Educational Affairs Advisor to the Andean Parliament, Otto Federico von Feigenblatt.

The Great Collar (Livery Collar), presented to Palacios on Wednesday, May 15, is the highest distinction awarded by the Chair and is governed by the British protocol of heraldic recognitions and distinctions.

The Governor of Coclé was nominated for this order on April 23, 2024.

In addition to Palacios, the official representative of the Bolívar Palacios Family, descendant of the Great Liberator Simón Bolívar Palacios, Michel Capelo Portillo also received this distinction.
