The governor of Arequipa and president of the National Assembly of Regional GovernmentsRohel Sánchez Sánchez, also questioned the work of the Constitutional Court (TC), referring to the latest rulings such as against Sunedu and the election of the Ombudsman.
“Our logic is very simple, the TC is acting outside the law. Not only on the tax issue. We see it, 44 public universities speak out against this law called university counter-reform and the Constitutional Court validates it”, criticized the former rector of the National University of San Agustín.
According to Sánchez, there is a political bias and the magistrates should listen to the pronouncement of the rectors of public universities and the deans of the faculties of Medicine, because there was already a plan to license the careers.
The Governor participated today in the Forum: “Strategic Planning for the Sustainable Development of the Regions in Peru”, held in Lima, where the National Center for Strategic Planning (Ceplan) and the National Society of Industries also participated.
