Indira Luz Barrios, Governor of Arauca, filed a complaint on the institutional networks of the department, about a case of sextortion of which she would be a victim at this time.
The president of the Araucanians pointed out that they unscrupulously hacked the information from her cell phone and from there they extracted intimate material with which they now threaten to disclose it if she does not give them money in exchange.

“Unscrupulous hands have extracted some videos from my intimate sphere and, not satisfied with this, they have been extorting me, facts to which I have not agreed, to those claims and that is why today they disclose my privacy,” the governor confessed.
Regarding the blackmail of which she is being the victim of a cyberstalker, the public official announced that she will file a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office for the crimes of blackmail and extortion.
The governor states that this situation has affected her family, especially her children.
“The dissemination of the same is a flagrant violation of human dignity and no person should be the target of this crime,” Barrios said about the recordings extracted from his electronic device.
Lastly, Barrios rejected the fact that she is the victim of attacks of this nature because she is in politics: “They can’t end us women like that and because we venture into politics we are more attacked,” she specified. .
