Governor of Aragua boosts the economy in 100 days of management

Under the motto 100 days serving 100%, Governor Karina Carpio offered the report of her first 100 days of management at the head of the Aragua state, in an act held from the Maracay Opera House, where she highlighted the revival of the economic sector of the entity, by supporting more than 4,200 entrepreneurs in different areas for the production of goods and services.

The regional president assured that they work hand in hand with the productive sector to leverage the development of the entity in fundamental areas such as tourism, through the granting of credits and advice to innkeepers and providers of tourist services, in addition to the activation of transport to destinations such as La Colonia Tovar and the coastal towns of Cata, Ocumare, Cuyagua and Choroní, highlighting that they are currently advancing an agreement that will allow receiving more than three thousand Russian and Polish tourists in the entity.

Likewise, he assured that they are working to promote a tax culture that allows obtaining the necessary resources for the execution of the works, as well as in the reorganization of the financial structure, aiming at the revival of areas such as mining.

“Aragua is full of life, expectations, hopes and enthusiasm,” said Carpio, who stressed that his government marks the beginning of a stage of growth for the state of Aragua, hand in hand with his work team and the leadership that accompanies it. from the bases of organized popular power in the different communities.

Among the advances of his management, he highlighted the recovery of more than 67 kilometers of roads and placement of lighting on the Central Regional Highway- Aragua Section, and the 80% progress shown by the La Cabrera toll recovery works.

He also recalled that 30 Transaragua units were rehabilitated, and new transport routes were activated from the city of Maracay to different locations in Aragón.

In terms of security, he referred to the provision of biosafety equipment delivered to officers of the Aragua Police, Inparques and Firefighters; and the strengthening and reinvigoration given to the 118 peace quadrants with which they work on a proposal for the formation of a new police force that interacts with citizens, a preventive police, organized and in a permanent training process.

Carpio indicated that they are carrying out a protection plan and funeral services for the more than 7,000 workers of the Government, between active and retired personnel, which will result in an improvement in their working conditions, highlighting the cancellation of liquidation and benefits that they had pending. with more than 500 workers.

Likewise, he referred to the activation of the transport service that benefits more than 300 employees of the regional government.

The Governor informed that they are about to recover ten operating rooms of the Los Samanes Hospital, as well as other spaces of the Central Hospital of Maracay, where the emergency area has already been heated, both for adults and children, in addition to cleaning, weeding and general maintenance of the main care center in Aragua. She also highlighted the rehabilitation of the two operating rooms of the Institute of Senology of the Aragua state (Isena), and noted that the rehabilitation work of the hospitals dependent on the IVSS will soon begin.

Another achievement of his management will be the inauguration of a delivery room in San Casimiro, to the south of the entity, which will open its doors in about two weeks.
