The governor of Anzoátegui state, Luis Marcano, reviewed the work and actions carried out in the areas of health, education, sports, security, tourism, social, in the presentation of the balance of his first 100 days of government.
In the event held at the Syrian Center of Puerto La Cruz, and in front of more than a thousand guests from various sectors of society, mayors, civil authorities, military, police, parliamentarians and popular power, the regional president summed up the first three months of government in values and virtues that define it and “which served to describe the advances that have added well-being to the population in a work articulated with the 21 mayors and the national government.”
In terms of health, the provision and rehabilitation of the 10 main hospitals in the state stood out, with special mention to the renovation of the Luis Razetti hospital complex in Barcelona and the Felipe Guevara Rojas hospital complex in El Tigre, in addition to the recent activation of the intensive care unit of the Rafael Tobías Guevara pediatric annex, with an investment of over 2 million bolívares.
“We have generated highly positive results. The people of Anzoatiguenses feel real hope that things are beginning to improve and work, what was abandoned for many years due to indolence and corruption, today is in the process of recovery and we are going for many more things », he said.
Likewise, the regional president highlighted that in the plan for the recovery of public services, several drinking water wells have been reactivated in the central-southern area, in addition to the maintenance of 3.3 kilometers of the Caratal canal, which has allowed optimizing the supply of the resource. water in the north.
He also mentioned the installation of more than 10,000 lights in the main streets and avenues of the state, as well as the recovery of roads with the emptying of nearly 20,000 tons of asphalt on important highways such as the Píritu-Clarines and Guanta-Santa sections. Faith in Trunk 9, Nueva Esparta, Costanera, El Ejército avenues.
