Governor Ciro Castillo promotes security in Colca and Huascarán

Ciro Castillo Rojo, regional governor of Callao, announced yesterday that he is promoting signage in the Colca Valley (Caylloma) and Huascarán (Áncash), places that are visited by foreign and national tourists.

Ciro Castillo’s son, who curiously bears his name, died in 2011 on the Bomboya mountain in the province of CayllomaThe search lasted six months and they recovered the body in a hard-to-reach area.
