Government will pay Easter royalty on Monday, December 5

The national treasurer, Luis Rafael Delgado Sanchez, reported on Tuesday that the government Dominican will pay the Easter regalia or salary 13 starting next Monday, December 5, 2022.

The holder of the National Treasury assured in a press conference at the headquarters of that entity, that they will be more than 25 billion pesos that will be disbursed to public servants, pensioners and the military.

He noted that the first to collect the salary 13 will be the members of the Armed forcespensioners and members of the National Policewith the intention of beginning the revitalization of the economy of the commercial sector.

He added that the amounts indicated do not include the mayoralties of the country, because they have their own budgets.

He called on public institutions to upload their payroll early to the electronic payment system to expedite the delivery of salary 13.

Match Breakdown

The delivery will cover 16,500,557,749 pesos to public servants; 5,596,912,925 pesos to decentralized or autonomous institutions.

Likewise, institutions that provide services abroad will receive $1,000,626.

The total of the Easter regalia amounts to 25,333,564,127 pesos.

To this figure is added the normal salary, which together will be more than 50,000,000,000 pesos in the month of December.
