The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, announced that in the first quarter of 2022 the remuneration of health personnel will be increased.
“In this first quarter of 2022, the increase in remuneration to health personnel will begin, complying with the third section of its remuneration scale”, said the president from La Videna, in San Luis.
“The people’s government understands that we must dignify the work of our workers, that is why we have initiated a policy of revaluation of the working conditions of all health personnel”added.
Castillo mentioned that an extraordinary bonus of S / 1,500 was granted to more than 260,000 workers, as part of these measures, in addition to the renewal of more than 60,000 contracts for the year 2022.
The president provided a balance of the vaccination process against COVID-19, where he announced that Peru reached the goal of 80% of the target population vaccinated with the two doses.
