The presidential delegate of Ñuble, Claudio Ferradaconfirmed on Monday afternoon the presentation of a complaint for the death of a 13-year-old girl, who was shot while traveling by car at dawn on May 9, in the Chillán commune.
Ferrada explained that the lawsuit will be directed against all those who are responsible. “Just as we did with the unfortunate death of police officer Brian Rivaswe will initiate judicial actions in the case of this minor,” he said.

“As a delegation, we will exhaust all the instances that the law confers on us so that these types of events do not go unpunished, because the only way to combat the criminal progress that our country has is in a joint and collaborative way where all the actors must exercise actions We are active and not passive agents in crime prevention,” he added.
For her part, the Minister spokesperson for the Government, Camila Vallejoexpressed from La Moneda that “it is a fact that is absolutely reprehensible and repudiable” and also confirmed the filing of the complaint.
“We are going to continue reinforcing the work that as a government we are coordinating day after day with the police so that, through intelligence, through the effective use of our police forces, we can find the whereabouts of these absolutely illegal weapons of which people and criminals make use of it in our country and that unfortunately end up in this type of incident,” he said.
