The Government of the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, through the Ministries of Education and Health, will bring forward the winter school holidays, extending them to 25 days after the sustained rise in occupancy in pediatric ICU beds due to the increase in respiratory viruses.
According to La Tercera slogan, this was confirmed by sources inside the Palacio de La Moneda. It is also indicated by the documents that the Minsal will release in the new balance sheet this Tuesday.
In them, it is observed that the last day of classes will be June 29, with educational team days for June 30 and July 1. July 25 is the date that the second educational semester will begin.

The decision will apply to the entire school system, both in public and private establishments.
