Entrepreneurship Minister, Microenterprise and Small Business (Memp), Márcio França, said on Thursday (30), that one of the great challenges of the federal government this year is to show Brazilian entrepreneurs that there are public policies that can help them not only renegotiate debts but expand their business, including aiming at the foreign market.
In an interview with the program Good morning, ministerproduced by Brazil Communication Company (EBC)Márcio França recalled that, through the Entrepreneur Portalit is possible for smaller entrepreneurs to obtain advantages, such as lower interest rates on credit lines.
This possibility is foreseen by Procred 360, a credit alternative for entrepreneurs who, for various reasons, were not effectively served by the National Microenterprise Support Program and Small Enterprises (Pronampe).
The Entrepreneur Portal, created by the government, aims to engage and empower entrepreneurs, and offers many of the facilities aimed especially at smaller enterprises, such as Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI),
Procred 360 is an additional source of financing. To access it, entrepreneurs must apply for credit directly from banking institutions. One of the advantages is flexibility in payment deadlines and lower rates compared to market rates.
The minister explained that Procred, and other initiatives, such as Small Business, for bank debt renegotiation, are part of the CREDA program, created with the objective of facilitating debt renegotiation and offering credit to different business rates for small businesses .
“This is a very successful program because it allows people to believe again [enquanto empreendedores]. Many were disturbed, due to bank, for companies, due to the pandemic. There are discounts that were over 90%, ”explained the minister, highlighting the potential of these programs to help delinquent entrepreneurs regularize the situation.
For Márcio França, there is a lack of knowledge about these possibilities offered by the government. “Many say they didn’t know, or they thought they didn’t fit the profile [dos beneficiários]. We really want the small entrepreneur to understand that he is the main focus of this year and this term, because he is the 65% generator of all jobs, and corresponds to 99% of all CNPJs in Brazil, ”he added.
As for the agreement announced in October, between the government and the Amazon business operator, developed with the objective of including small businesses in e -commerce, including targeting markets abroad, the minister explained that “the idea is to give better competition conditions in the market external”.
“Export is for everyone. It’s a matter of guidance, ”he said.
