Government transfers more than S/ 3.9 million to SUCAMEC

He Executive powerthrough Supreme Decree No. 153-2025-EF, authorized a budget transfer for an amount of S/ 3’935,900.00 in favor of the National Superintendency of Control of Security Services, Weapons, Ammunition and Explosives for Civil Use (Sucamec).

The measure aims to strengthen the inspection capacities against the diversion of weapons and explosives that compromise national security.

The application was submitted by the Ministry of Interior, charged to its institutional budget and without additional demand to the public treasure. According to the standard, the resources will allow implementing operations centers in the port of Chancay and at the Jorge Chávez International Airport, in addition to reinforcing the zonal leaders in Tumbes and Apurímac.

These actions are developed within the framework of the Peru Safe Plan, in line with the priority objective of reducing the incidence of violent crimes, as established in the National Multisectoral Policy of Citizen Security to 2030.

Of the total transferred, S/ 3’453,300.00 will be allocated to current expenses for goods and services, while S/ 482,600.00 will be oriented to the acquisition of non -financial assets. The standard also establishes that the assigned resources may not be used for purposes other than those provided, under administrative responsibility.
