He Dominican government transferred the funds for the construction of two new industrial warehouses in the Industrial Free Trade Zone of San Juan de la Maguana almost two months after its inauguration, headed by President Luis Abinader.
The work, it was indicated in a press release, will be carried out by the Development Center and Industrial Competitiveness (Proindustria) and contemplates an estimated investment of 133,849,695.61 pesos for the expansion of industrial infrastructure in the area.
When referring to the transfer of resources, the general director of Proindustria, Rafael Cruzindicated that this step allows progress in the industrial development of San Juan de la Maguana and in the goals established by the Government for the end of the year.
Project details
The project includes the construction fingers industrial warehouses of approximately 16,000 square feet each one, within the San Juan free zone park.
The buildings will have metal frame structure, thermal aluzinc covers and mixed perimeter walls, in accordance with current technical regulations.
The facilities will also have:

According to the schedule of Proindustriathe process of public tender under the price comparison modality is scheduled to start in January 2026, while the beginning of the construction It is estimated for March of the same year.
