San Cristóbal.- The president Louis Abinader led this Saturday the 46th day of the social inclusion program “First You” developed by the Government through the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep), and highlighted that during his administration, social programs and investments have been duplicated for the benefit of the most vulnerable Dominicans in the country.
In a brief speech before the more than 2,000 young people, older adults and the elderly who attended the conference, the head of state highlighted that through the conference “First you” More than 130,000 people have benefited this year from the social assistance plans developed by some 15 participating institutions.
Abinader said that with “Primero Tú” the Government unifies in a single place all the services and assistance offered by these State institutions and agencies, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep), which is directed by Minister Neney Cabrera.

This Saturday’s was held at the Francisco J. Peynado Polytechnic School, located in the Lavapiés neighborhood of San Cristobal.
Abinader reiterated his exhortation to the attendees not only to present themselves to the modules established by the State entities, but to each one of them, and to be able to enjoy and benefit from them, since they become social agents for their promotion and so that people they benefit.
At the conclusion of the act, President Luis Abinader symbolically handed over two of the Get Over Yourself Program Cards Mrs. Adelina Caro and Marisol Valera Pinales, accompanied by the General Director of Community Development of Supérate, Melina Sánchez.
The president was accompanied by José Ignacio Paliza, Administrative Minister of the Presidency; the Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz; the provincial governor Pura Casilla, and the director of the Propeep Dominican Digna program, Adolfo Pineda, among other officials.

On his side, the president of the Las Flores Neighborhood Association and community leader Félix Arias, said that it is the first time in history that he has seen a president visit all the provinces and spend two consecutive weekends in San Cristóbal. It is a historical fact”, he proclaimed.
“The president here, in San Cristóbal, has worked and is doing these days that benefit the community, regardless of political color, you simply have to be Dominican to receive these benefits,” he said.
Assistance and benefits
On this Saturday, the attendees benefited from consultations and medical attention, the delivery of medicines and cooked food rations and items that make up the basic basket.
In addition, they underwent check-ups and eye exams, prostate exams and early detection of breast cancer, and young people were registered for their choice of admission to the National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep) and the Technological Institute of Americas (ITLA) and the Vocational Schools of the Armed Forces and the National Police, as well as for the first job.
Also for the purification and selection process for affiliation to the Supérate program, of the Presidency of the Republic and the National Health Insurance (Senasa), as well as for the solidarity pension through the National Council for the Aged (Conape).
Wheelchairs were also delivered today to people with disabilities and raw and cooked food rations.
In the “First You” social inclusion sessions, Propeep is accompanied, among others, by the Ministries of Public Health and Labor, the National Health Service (SNS), Conape, ITLA, Infotep, the Institute of Comprehensive Care for Early Childhood (Inaipi), the Economic Dining Rooms of the Presidency and the National Institute for Price Stabilization (Inespre), among other state service institutions.
