Within the conversation, the Minister of Labor, Antonio Sanguino issued an alert about the difficulties that are being presented in the Caribbean in different areas.
“The Colombian Caribbean needs more training in areas such as tourism, logistics, foreign trade, renewable energies, data science, artificial intelligence, among others, and it is necessary to align what we teach with what the territory and world dynamics demand”Sanguino emphasized.

“We have gone further, because for the first time, the medical students who carry out their year of clinical internship will be recognized with a salary and social security, thanks to a reform that values them as a fundamental part of the health system and the work world. This represents a peace and labor justice”said.
And pointed out his speech highlighting the creation of the SENA learning contract, which will be available for the nearly 70,000 apprentices in the Caribbeanthey have the possibility of having labor guarantees, since they receive remuneration, they are affiliated with social security and access to legal benefits.
