Government orders acquisition of land to title 2,400 families in Las Carmelitas and Nibaje

La Vega.- The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, instructed the Titling Commission to acquire one million square meters in the Las Carmelitas and Nibaje communities to begin surveying and social survey work in the area in order to deliver Titles property to 2,400 families.

The information was released by the senator of La Vega province, Ramón Rogelio Genao, in the framework of a meeting with the Association for the Development of Las Carmelitas and Nibaje sponsored by the vegan communicator Rosy Villeta.

Rogelio Genao also explained that they have already reached an agreement with the owners of the land for their acquisition.

“President Luis Abinader sends you the good news that he ordered the acquisition of one million meters to deliver property titles to 2,400 families in these communities,” he said.

He announced that the work will begin in the first quarter of this year.
