Government of Havana reports on the closure of the marketing area in La Güinera

AREQUIPA, Peru – The Municipal Administration Council of Arroyo Naranjo closed the Güinera marketing area this Sunday.

on a note shared on Facebook by the Government of Havana, the entity indicated that it is a “temporary” measure motivated by “the hygienic-sanitary situation that the area presents.”

“It has been decided to partially close the area for a maximum period of 30 days starting this Sunday, October 6 (…) During this period, actions will be carried out due to the different entities involved in the repair of spills, leaks and roads,” he points out. the informative note.

Likewise, the report adds that the objective of the closure is also to rehabilitate the roads in the area, in addition to the organization of self-employment activities.

“We apologize to the population for the inconvenience caused and we will inform you of its next opening,” the official information states.

In recent weeks, dozens of establishments have closed on the island, many of them permanently.

In “control actions” carried out by the Ministry of Domestic Trade (MINCIN) of Cuba Between September 2 and 6, the regime authorities were verifying compliance of Resolution 93 of the entity.

For this purpose, some 1,767 establishments were visited (of them, 695 state and 1,072 non-state), hundreds of infractions and an equal number of sanctions were detected.

Next November 2 marks one year since the publication, in the Official Gazette, of Resolution 93 of the MINCIN, which establishes as a requirement for commercial establishments subject to registration in the Central Commercial Registry, temporarily or permanently, to possess the payment facilities through national gateways or point-of-sale terminals for the marketing of goods and provision of services to the consumer.

In statements to official media GranmaInalvis Smith Lubén, vice minister of the MINCIN, explained that 506 infractions were quantified, with 459 measures applied; of them, 58 closures of establishments, 17 withdrawals of Commercial Authorization, and 384 fines for a total amount of 1,044,515 pesos.

On the other hand, on September 6 it was also known that the Cuban regime sent an audit to the Chinese wholesale market, called China Import, located in Cerro. During the intervention, several irregularities were detected that led to the closure of the establishment just about two months after its opening.

An informative note from the Government of Havana, cited by the state media Cubadebateindicates that the “control action” was decided based on “opinions, complaints from the population and other elements disclosed on social networks.”

Among the most serious violations pointed out by the Government were sales of merchandise in dollars, products for sale without visible prices, and failure to enable walkways. electronic payment established, illegal hiring of workforce and participation as workers of foreign citizens, failing to comply with the conditions of stay in the national territory.
