A few hours before the deadline set for Dina Boluarte to promulgate the law that restores preliminary detention in the current system, the Prime Minister, Gustavo Adrianzén, announced that the observations on said law have been sent to the Congress of the Republic. In this way, the law must return to the Justice Commission, and it will be the decision of the parliamentarians of said commission whether or not they abide by the Government’s observations.
