The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that the Government assigned a subsidy of RD$188 million to maintain the prices of essential fuels during the week of February 28 to March 6, 2026, with the objective of protecting the population and national production.
In that order, liquefied petroleum gas will be subsidized (LPG) with RD$3.57 per gallon; the regular gasoline with RD$2.87; regular diesel with RD$17.64, and optimal diesel with RD$18.87,
Fuel prices
For the week of February 28 to March 6, 2026, fuels will be sold at the following prices:
Premium gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon; maintains its price. Regular gasoline, RD$272.50 per gallon; maintains its price.
Regular diesel, RD$224.80 per gallon; maintains its price. Optimal diesel, RD$242.10 per gallon; maintains its price.
Avtur, RD$205.65 per gallon; rises RD$3.04. Kerosene, RD$238.40 per gallon; rises RD$3.10.
Fuel oil #6, RD$147.72 per gallon; rises RD$2.53. Fuel oil 1%S, RD$165.33 per gallon; rises RD$2.31.
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), RD$137.20 per gallon; maintains its price. Natural gas, RD$43.97 per m3; maintains its price.
The weekly average exchange rate is RD$61.37, from the daily publications of the Central Bank.
