Government left the new designation of EsSalud Constantino Vila

Just a few hours passed and the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promot SOCIAL SECURITY OF HEALTH (ESSALUD).

Vila’s designation at the head of Essalud was officially formalized yesterday in the Bulletin of Legal Standards of the newspaper El Peruano where he also realized the acceptance of the resignation of his predecessor María Aguilar del Águila, who held the position since October 2023.

The brief statement, in addition, said that to make his appointment “the corresponding filters were made before the proper diligence platform of the public sector where – they indicated – there was no alleged requisition” against him.

And after knowing the appointment of Vila circulated on social networks a trade of the Superior Court of Justice of Ica addressed to the head of the Division of Requisters of the Judicial Police dated January 24 of this year.

There, the Second Unipersonal Criminal Court requests that the registration of the Vila Córdova capture order in merit to the “Resolution Act of Hearing dated January 24, 2025” be provided at the national level. The document, however, does not provide more details.

Vila had been performing as general director of the General Directorate of Health Operations in the Ministry of Health that are in the hands of Alliance for Progress through César Vásquez.

He was Regional Health Manager of the La Libertad region until July 2020, a position from which he was removed after receiving harsh criticism for his mismanagement of the health emergency in the Covid-19 Pandemia.

It should be noted that Vila was going to replace in the driving of EsSalud to María Elena Aguilar del Águila, who weeks ago was linked laborly with the plastic surgeon Mario Cabani who would have submitted to the president of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, to an aesthetic treatment the year the year past.
