Santo Domingo.- The Government headed by President Luis Abinader, has invested some 252 million pesos in the Salvador Salvador Gautier hospital, renovating the building and purchasing high-tech medical equipment, revealed the director of the National Health Service. (SNS), Mario Lama.
Likewise, I reveal that, this Friday, medical teams were delivered to that hospital center, which will be put into operation immediately at the service of the population.
Mario Lama said that only in the purchase of the equipment, some $RD132,000,000 was invested, which was delivered this Friday.

He stated that with these actions, the Dominican Government fulfills its promise to strengthen the quality of health of Dominicans and respond to the health situation of those most in need.
The medical teams were received by the director of Gautier, Dr. Fredis de Jesús Reyes Agüero.
Lama argued that the tender was for about RD$60,000,000 that will be used to invest in the reconstruction of the electrical service, in addition to RD$60,000.00 for remodeling of the physical infrastructure.
Lama said that the equipment delivered includes a laparoscopy tower, a bipolar resectoscope, a prostate biopsy gun with its reusable needle box, two C-arms (fluoroscopy), 15 rolling surgical aspirators, and a power unit for laser lithotripsy.
Likewise, six anesthesia machines, 15 electrocauteries with trolleys, an advanced 4D ultrasound machine, a flexible and a rigid ureteroscope, a rigid cystoscope and a basic three-transducer ultrasound.
